The winning entry for the CPC Stamp Design Contest was chosen as the design for the cachet of the 25th Anniversary Cover. The design by member John Denune featured Santa Claus and a child holding hands and holding a candle in their opposite hands. The design was printed in screened colors of red and green with silver metallic pen highlights added. The words "25th Anniversary / Christmas Philatelic Club" were printed above the cachet and "Founded in Harmony, Minnesota / 1969" appeared below the cachet. An informational stuffer designed by President Robert Haslewood with an elongated United States nickel affixed was included with each cover. The covers were offered for presale to members of the Christmas Philatelic Club. 500 covers were printed and the covers were sold out by the end of the first day of "Christmas in Minnesota." All preorders were mailed in envelopes from the show with either a First Day or Second Day Cancel.

To fund the exhibit awards for the "Christmas in Minnesota" Stamp Exhibition, a souvenir card with an elongated United States penny attached was sold and also mailed in a specially-designed envelope from the "Christmas in Minnesota" Stamp Show. Only 100 souvenir cards on green stock were available.
